explain the shared rooms?

Our Rates and Policies page has a more detailed breakdown of the accommodations offered, and you’ll find that here. Most rooms are private and include a writing desk, along with comfortable sleeping quarters. What should I bring?

February in Hudson is likely to be very cold and snowy. We think this will make our gorgeous location feel even more cozy and charming. Be sure to bring warm, comfortable clothing including snow boots, hats and gloves. Registrants will receive an email full of tips and pointers on what to pack.

Is narrative alchemy a good fit for my writing level?

This workshop is open to writers of all levels of experience. However, those who opt to share their writing in workshop should be comfortable with the workshop critique model. Our Instructors are experts at making sure that every student is met—and challenged—at their own level.

Talk to me about food?

We’ve engaged an incredible area caterer for this workshop, and feel confident saying that every meal will be delicious. Expect fresh, local, organic and yummy! We will do our best to work with any dietary restrictions that are communicated to us in advance. That said, we do not recommend using this weekend to launch a brand new diet. Let yourself enjoy the comfort of our beautiful space and fabulous food—so that you can focus on your writing practice.
